I see pics and videos of people camping and driving up to it, but I'm trying to get confirmation that we can legally before I post that. But yes, that was my plan. Either that, or the public camping field in Chatsworth.

Thats what i was wondering also. There looked to be a field that someone had been cutting up in on the right not far from the top that might work also.

I think flatlands will be the hardest part we see on this trip, but I think it is doable by our crew. Some of the pictures make it seem worse than it is when they tilt the camera.

Thursday Travel Time : 4 hours
travel to Camp at Hawk Mountain or Jones Creek Campsite ~ 4 hours

Friday Travel Time : 8 hours
travel to and drive Flatlands Road ~ 2-2.5 hours
travel West on Blue Ridge, GA ~ 1 hour
travel West to meet up with the Big Frog Wilderness Loop ~ 30 min
Big Frog Wilderness Loop to Public Camping Field ~ 4 hours
Camp at Public Camping Field Friday Night

I have identified additional camping locations along the route where we could possibly camp if time doesnt allow us to make it to the desired locations. If we leave out at 8-9am Friday, that would probably put us at the public campsite around 6pm.
