Grand Dads Cj5

For some reason I thought Oscar was at the end of May, been dragging my feet la la la la, then I discover its in 2 weeks. Spent the evening trying to rebuild my steering box, watch a couple good youporn vids and felt sure about. It only took dude 20 min. After I hour of four letter words and mashing my thumb I ordered a new one. Which I knew would be a possibility. The core alone was $190 then another $170 for the box. So I'm happy to at least have a core.

You make me feel better about my decision to tear down both axles this weekend... Well, not as good as how clean and nice everything was inside... Short of the rear diff milkshake, everything looks like new.

Hope to have mine 100% by the end of the day Sunday.

I think there is a label on them that says KF. Yeah I'm hoping I get to go, really screwed myself pretty bad with those dates. Don't even have time in for work. I was so focused on Colorado, then my wife says she don't wanna go because she will be 5 months prego, I would have rather her said we were having twins than not go. Now I'm mildly depress with a blue thumb.

Look on pirate in the jeep hardcore section. Project "Bentsome". I couldn't figure out how to copy and paste the link. It's a nice clean build, no way I'm considering motor swaps, tons and coil overs again but he did a nice job keeping it clean but yet old school. What I like is his cage, as the kid gets old enough to ride along (#atbirth) I'd like to do a clean cage.

Nice crappy day to spend in the shop, picked up my new steering box yesterday and my other shackle came in so I can finally get it back together to hopefully drive it a few days this week if the weather gets better.

Got the yj spring swap done, I had the front shackles in the wrong holes so once I moved them Gwd an inch I gained another 1/4" of lift. I'm happy with the lift I got, I think it sits just right.

This kinda has me baffled. Everything is bolted down tight. No signs of any parts being defected, spring center pins are in the axle. All I know to do is take apart again.
