Anybody know a way to tell the differance in the CUCV 14 bolt, vs. a standard 14 bolt? Other than pulling the cover.

maybe check the gear tag and see if it says 4:56:1

The axle will normally have the remainders of green or tan CARC paint on it.

did you get any? I have a few of the 20mm rocket boxes and these are nearly 10lbs lighter each. Wish I had the cash laying around.

Yea, I was going to make one into a center console between my seats but I think I will just re-install my old one. I thought I was going to have to modify the floor more for the Rubi case. The inside of these boxes look brand spanking new so I assume they are element proof. Would make great storage for small items and can be left outside. Maybe a super stout sammy container or some treats for Oscar.

Looks to be 12"x12"x5" although since it tapers a bit around halfway down I would say 11x11x4 of fully usable space throughout.
