My new change of pace

Stopped working on the truck to switch back to the 36 and get it out finally. It's a completely new car almost since it came in.

This is one of the hardest metal shaping things I've had to do just because of how the piece is curved in so many directions. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1393644351.391017.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1393644363.658773.jpg

No no no those are old fenders that were on it when it came in. It will be this greyish color. Has a metal headliner in it that turned out cool. I'll grab a picture when I go back to shop of how it sits now. This is going to be the owners new daily driver.

Tore her down to finish welding and plating the frame and do a few things to the body while we had it off the frame. Now were reassembling it for last time before we shake it down and then paint. Looking forward to boiling the tires off on this bitch. Thanks. A lot of time and work in it. Doesn't look anything like it did when it came in in July to have the brakes fixed.

Had a 66 chevelle I had been working on that finally left ImageUploadedByTapatalk1397153041.109443.jpg

Did a bunch of chassis work on the 56 wagon and had to make the 5.3 and all it's accessories fit nicely.

Tested the motor using an 18v battery from my drill to check everything for clearance, about broke the stop off the door it was so fast.

47 pickup is turning out to be badass. Once we get it moved to the other frame plate I'll snap a pic of it as a whole.

Well been in Atlanta for a little over a year and decided a few months back that we wanted to move back to the upstate. High cost of living and city life aren't really my thing. I've definitely enjoyed doing the hot rod/custom car gig for a living but not enough to stay in Atlanta. Monday is my last day at MU and I'm going to be helping a guy for a few weeks here and I'll be moving back to greenville mid November to start work.

Whooooo greenville, I can't wait till you get back in the neighborhood so you can not answer the phone and never drink cold beer haha. Where you going to be working in gville?

We found a little house off Lauren's rd close to downtown so I'll be up In the mix more then I was out in my apartment way out in taylors. Pretty solid 2 car garage out back that needs some love.

Going back to the place I use to work called Current Tools but with a different role/position then I was. I've missed getting to weld as much as I use to and I'll be working there with they're r&d ppl building and designing prototypes and fixtures and what not. Still doing some production work too but not nearly as much as I had been. Hoping to get some training out of it using design software and maybe eventually make my way to a desk and get less dirty everyday.
