Thanks, I love the Cherokee too. 33 is a private park. There is a membership fee yearly to enter the property. There are a few of us that are members and would be happy to have you go with us. I will stay in touch :)

Nice Cherokee. I would like to build one of these. Anybody care to suggest a better year model XJ if there is one? I also have wondered where "exit 33" is.... anybody care to tell me how far it is from Spartanburg/Woodruff area?

Thanks for the compliment, suggestion on year jeep not sure however the 98-01 Cherokee with the 29 spline 8.25 would be a good choice. Exit 33 is a members only park. Currently they are accepting members j believe the fee is $200 a year that covers camping and passengers.,It is open everyday. It is around 2 hours from Spartanburg straight down 26 to I-20 then west to exit 33 about 2 miles south of the exit. Let me know if I can be of any other help :)

You don't want an 01. I believe they went to a low pinion for the last year. Look for one with 8.25 rear, not Dana 35. 27 vs 29 spline doesn't make a whole lot 9f difference but 29 is stronger and started in 97. 95 and up have the bigger ujoints in the front.

I would shoot for a 95-00 with as few miles as you can afford.
