Literally took 10 minutes to mount the bumper. Winch will probably go on this weekend along with the locker

Front end started binding up lock it was locked and then finally BANG! Finally got it all apart last night and found the side gear has welded itself to the carrier. Never seen this before. It caused so much strain in there that the roll pin that retains the center pin was warped.

So I had scooped a third from Harvard a while back and it ended up being a v6 third. An 80 front is a hybrid of an axle. Reverse rotation ring gear (high pinion), 4 cylinder spiders and carrier style with v6 carrier bearings. It will take a v6 carrier that is full case and runs the double center pin and 4 spiders.

Now the front diff should have he best of all worlds of yota.

Also solved another myth, a yota 8" is the same diameter as a "8.4". It's the carrier that's so much better not the ring gear.
