Best guess is I deposit a check, they take the top after it "clears", I get a call from the bank a week later that there's a problem and no money. Whatever they are trying might have been a little more believable if they didn't open with "I want to come check it out tomorrow", then all the sudden they are too busy and want to jump through bs hoops. Lol
