Lucky you noticed it before it started raining and got inside. Someone needs to be checking the workmanship before the customer gets called to pick it up.
Yeah, I was glad I got it and checked it and not have it sitting on their lot getting rained in.

As far as checking the work, people definitely got chewed out over this and hopefully that helps it not happen to somebody else. You know they lost big on the warranty rate having to do rework twice.

It all camper manufactures we got a grand design think it would be better but so far it hasn't been the case. We have be waiting since last summer for the correct parts to come in for warranty work on ours from campers inn in Conway. They had ours almost 2 weeks last October and still didn't get the correct parts. They showed up at our campsite the week of the 4th when we where camping down that way with one thing out of 20 that they was supposed to fix.

We really liked the Grand Design 21BHE. Same floor plan as this, nicer finishes, ducted heat and AC. We looked at the last one in stock in the south east last summer but of course it was sold when we called back.

Grand design in general is nice ours is a 3740bh s class which is a step down from there top of the line models and it shows fit a finish is half ass on it.

We spent a long weekend (8/5-8/8) at Bear Den Family Campground near Linville, NC. I have been wanting to take the kids to Linville Caverns and just looked for campgrounds nearby and it was excellent.

We went to the caverns, Wiseman's view, lunch at Little Switzerland Cafe, swam in Wilson Creek. Busy weekend but so much fun.

Bennett forgot to bring any lovies so after Nora let him borrow her puppy the first night he was very excited about his campground bear.

It's been a busy week. We got home Sunday afternoon, unloaded, washed, reloaded for Edisto Tuesday-Thursday. My cousin had a beach house rented but it was full so we needed a place to sleep. We lucked out and caught a cancelation at Edisto Beach campground. My parents went so we slept 6 in the camper. It worked, but 5 would be the max for comfort.

Apparently I didn't take a picture once set up...

We spent the last weekend 9/17 - 9/19 at a property up near Topton, NC. First long tow with the 2500 and it did well. I'll be looking to gain a few horses but overall satisfied. No camper issues this trip.

It was rainy most of the weekend, but the kids didn't care.

With the switch from pickup to SUV for tow vehicle I needed a spot to carry my generator outside. This stromberg carlson tongue rack is seriously stout!

I'll have to switch to a soft vinyl tank cover to be able to swap tanks, but other than that no issues with install. I hope I can slide the battery all the way to the right side and get a gas can on the other side of the battery tray.

I shifted the battery tray over to drivers side and made room for a gas can. It needed a spacer on the back to lean it forward to clear the curve of the front cap.

I also picked up this flo n go nozzle from TSC that is a siphon pump. Theoretically I'll be able to pump fuel up to the generator and not move the can. I tried it with both generator and can on the ground and it worked. Will have to verify it can pump up.

I was going to wait until I had the generator all set up to post this, but our camping plans through the end of the year have all been canceled so the camper got winterized yesterday.

I added some L track strips that will let me tie the generator straight down, allowing the gen cover to fit over everything.

I got a set of straps that I'm going to cut to the right length so I don't have to worry about the tails whipping the nose of the camper.
