Dog eats paralyzed Arkansas man's testicle

TRUMANN, AR (KAIT) - An Arkansas man awoke Monday morning to find his dog had eaten one of his testicles, police say.

The 39-year-pold man, who will not be identified, is paralyzed and told Trumann police he had “no feeling from the waist down.”

Around 7:45 a.m. Monday he said he was awakened by a “burning pain” in his mid-section, according to the police report.

The man told police he sleeps in the nude. On that morning, he awoke to find the dog between his legs. He also noticed the “small, white, fluffy dog” had blood on its muzzle and front feet.

When the man took a closer look, the report states he noticed “the dog had eaten one of his testicles.”

The victim said the dog was a stray he had taken in about three weeks ago. The man was unsure if the dog had been vaccinated.

Police took the dog to a local veterinarian where it was euthanized. The dog's body was sent to the Arkansas Department of Health to be tested for rabies.

The victim was taken to St. Bernards Regional Medical Center where he was treated for his injuries

(RNN) - Scrambled eggs, sausages, wrapped in a fried waffle, drizzled with maple syrup has taken the fast-food breakfast menu by storm - and it's expanding.

It's called the waffle taco, and Taco Bell is making it available to more Americans after positive reviews in Southern California.

Starting Thursday, the waffle taco will be available at Taco Bell restaurants in cities such as Omaha, NE, Chattanooga, TN and Fresno, CA.

Taco Bell first tested the waffle taco in Southern California earlier this year. It later became the top seller during breakfast hours.

If the waffle taco does well, a Taco Bell spokesman says it may become available to all Taco Bells that serve breakfast.

Brian Niccol, president of Taco Bell, told the Washington Post, "You only get one shot when you go with big items."

Taco Bell offers breakfast at 850 locations in 10 western states.
