street legal j8?

I just passed a legit Jeep J8 on i85 on my way to work. I had no idea there were any street legal ones in the US. It did have a M/R Dealer license plate, but I don't know what that means. It was cool: tan, right hand drive, leaf springs in rear, snorkle on the hood, etc.

Anyone know what an M R Dealer is?

Just looked at the website. Says their US office is in Duncan, SC. 864 number and all.

Well that makes sense. I was about 5 miles south of Duncan when I saw it. Ive heard of Jankel (the parent company) but I didn't know they were dealing Jeeps now. In any case it was cool to see one on the road.

I emailed them to see if they were able to sell them to the public and if they were street legal.
