Oscar prep got a little more involved than expected today, but all good now. Just need to possibly charge the AC depending on the forecast.

Ok, I'm trying to get my truck ready for OSCAR. I'm pulling a trailer with Chris Tacketts Jeep, hopefully. Two nights ago I noticed that the right trailer brake/turn light was glowing slightly so I disconnected the trailer and ofcourse the light went out, but I checked the seven blade plug and the blade for the right turn signals had power. Next I went to the fuse box driver side under the hood and found the fuses for trailer lights and sure enough right turn signal had power on both sides of the fuse. So i pulled the fuse and one side had power went to the seven pin trailer plug and the signal was gone. I figured I'll just pull the fuse and tackle it when I get back got home from work yesterday and the truck battery was dead. So yesterday afternoon and this morning since 5 I have been pulling wires disconnected lord knows what and I still don't know what it is. So, I'm calling on the collective knowledge that is out there. Does anybody have any idea what I can do to get this fixed. Truck is a 2015 2500 Silverado. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Plan B is disconnect the battery when we are not on the road. Beverly Hillbillie Wal Mart getto I know, but we are going to get there if at all possible. Sorry for the long read, I v been at this since 5 am. I need a beer.

So even after the trailer was unplugged, the turn pin and fuse was still hot and the truck battery still died? That doesn't make any sense to me.

Did you pull the connector out of the back of the socket at the bumper and make sure everything looks good there? I just put my little jump pack on charge and will have it in the jeep tomorrow.
