We've discussed tractors for years and Burgundy has wanted to get one but I was hesitant because I didn't want something nice sitting outside. I finally gave in and decided between being partially sheltered under the porch and with a canopy I was ok with it.

I shopped JD and Kubota. Borrowed a friend's L2501 and liked it, but needed more power. We went with an L3902, fitted with a Terra Force 60" 4 in 1 bucket and a Land Pride RC1872 cutter.

I have a few little projects lined up but the main objective is to reestablish then maintain the paths / fire breaks around the property.

I love mine!! I have a L4060 just rolled over 130 hours in about year and half. Hopefully that 1872 is a little strong than my rcf2072 cutter i have bent the back of mine twice now cutting in tight areas the back cover is not covering an opening its just double wall metal.

No, I got the only set or r14s they had in stock. They typically have them with ags or r4s but I got the r14s.

If you know me, you know I have an affinity for neat storage solutions. There's a very expensive product coming to market that utilizes the loader tubes for a little bit of storage. I did something similar for about $30 worth of PVC caps and some tube I had laying around.






I originally made them both 13.5" to the step up in the cap, but I failed to realize there is a sensor on the engine that protrudes into the tube on the right side. I had to cut it down to 12". All it took to make them fit was flattening a spot on the caps for the tube weld seam and lightly sanding them the rest of the way around for a press fit.

Strap, shackles, and some zip ties fit in the short side. Longer side will probably get an adjustable wrench, maybe some spray lube.

Both kids (and Burgundy) learned how to drive the tractor yesterday.

Will you keep a small adjustable on your belt to open the cap to get to the larger adjustable when that cap seizes up? haha I swear that was my favorite WD40 scene ever on king of the hill.

I greased the threads, but I did think of that. I think I'm going to keep wrenches in the little toolbox and other stuff in the tubes.

Excellent (and cheap) quick disconnect fire extinguisher available on Amazon. I was going to drill the ROPs and bolt it but the hose clamps they sent fit fine.

Today's mod. I have a couple creeks I can't cross at least until I put pipes in, so I have to hop on the road. I can't stand not having mirrors. There are some magnetic options that stick to the loader arms, but I'm sure those would get knocked off and broken.
