From what David's told me, those burn tables bring the suck. They do ECORS trophys and the cuts are raggedy. They are always posting stuff on Craigslist I see.

I would love a little torchmate table though for sure, it would sit beside my end mill and old lathe, far away from my air cooled Porsche on 4 post lift...

Damn. Maybe my brother in law got a great deal on his, but he picked up an 05 unlimited rubi w/ ~50k miles for the same money just a few months ago.

My experience was opposite. I wanted an auto and could only fine manual Rubis. Ended up getting non-Rubi because of the price difference. With an unlimited, all you really get with a Rubi is the front 44 and locker in back instead of LS. I paid $5,000 less for mine than the Rubis I was looking at. I'll eventually put a locker and chromos in the front and still be much cheaper.

Good point about the t case. That wasnt as much of a factor for.me because of the auto and it not being a hard core crawler. The manual Rubi I drove seemed too low with stock size tires though. On 35's with 4.10s and 4.1 would probably be perfect.

When i do finally pony up and buy one thats the idea. a long arm w/ 35-37's. it would be used as an expedition/camping rig thats still pretty capable if i get it in a tight spot. I just want something a little more mild than my samurai for when the camping/wheeling trips come up on the public road areas..
