I have been wanting to build a 2 1/2 ton 6x6 for a long time. I finally started it a few week ago, stock axial frame I lengthened with 1/2" aluminum angle. Built a passthrough center axle and flipped the rear axle upside down, so it will travel the right direction. The body is a tamiya bullhead Simi cab, added 2 spare tire mounts, and a fifth wheel. Went with a 1980s camo paint job, still not finished l, but its getting there.
