Alaska Offroad Warriors on History Chanel Sunday Nights at 10pm.

Marcus deleted his thread on this, so here is a new one.

After watching the first 5 shows or so on Youtube the channel I had been watching seems to have disappeared. The history channel online viewing doesnt load correctly for me on my ipad and resets the webpage when the commercials start.

I have been following the thread on Pirate4x4 where Jason, and Carl from the show have been commenting and giving some back story. I feel like the show makes a lot more sense when you understand how the time was actually tracked and the trail rides went down.

Here are some behind the scenes pics from team rover.

How is the Rover guy portrayed on the landrover forums? from what they said on pirate its like they are watching a different show haha.
On one forum he is pretty much Michael Jordan.

The first episode when he got in the yelling match, I lost a lot of respect for him. But then it regrew...then he toasted his engine. I haven't really watched recently but I'll be catching up soon.

I missed the last episode Sunday, but from Carl's Comments on the thread on pirate he won the race and took the $100k prize in SuperJeep. I'm hoping to watch the last episode this week.

It was really anticlimactic. The last two weeks of Top Gear was the Patagonia special. Those guys conquered more difficult terrain in a Porsche, Lotus, and Mustang than the last 2 stages of Alaska Offroad Wheelers...

Speaking of Top Gear, there's a new show that airs next week after Top Gear on BBC called Mud, Sweat, and Gears that looks like it should be good.

Dude, that 2nd part of the Patagonia special was nuts.

I still haven't seen the last AOW show. I'm sure I'll catch it eventually. Just never really got jazzed about that show (though I did watch them all at one time or another)
