It performed as designed with no issues. Road and trail...but it's a bit slow on the road...need to get the torque converter lockup working and air back up before hitting the asphalt-I was running 10psig. Build details...best I recall...it's been a journey:
- Jeep 4.0L high output inline 6, 70K miles, original engine
- 110" hub to hub
- About 22 inches to skid
- Tub floor tunnel cut up, frankensteined back together and artfully massaged with a BFH to avoid body lift
- Hesco damper/crank sensor kit-relocates CPS to front damper from bell housing
- American Racing Headers 3” stainless exhaust. Crop dusts out the passy side in front of rear tire
- NOVAK 700R4 reverse manual valve body, level II build, crawler stall, manual torque converter lockup
- Sand Hollow Offroad Speed Shifter-gateless, allows quick slam reverse
- Atlas 4.3:1, 2 speed
- 1979 Ford Snowfighter Dana 60 axles, HP front. Rear tubes bored to accept 35 spline axle, front 35 spline
- Yukon diff covers
- Spartan lockers front and rear...this may change in the front to selectable
- Redneck Ram hydro steering assist
- Redneck Ram rebuilt steering box (relocated to front of Jeep)
- Bored out OEM power steering pump-this is the only official work I did on the Jeep...LMAO

What is original to the YJ is the front half of the frame-although it's been frenched and modified, tub, dashboard,, A/C and heat, and 4.0L long block. Cage and all tube work is entirely removable with just a few cuts so I can replace the tub as I destroy it.
I ain't paying $30K for a crate SBC conversion...but if Morgan can figger out how to do it for $10K...I might pull that trigger.
