July 25 Long Cane ALT Jeep Ride | SCAR 1 & 2

Ed and Stacy will be leading a ride on the South Carolina Adventure Route on Saturday July 25.
Ride will start at 8:00AM @ Xtra Bacon or Not in Saluda, SC. They will make there way along the route back toward Exit 33 on I-20.

Hey all! The plan is to pass thru McCormick twice during the first half of the ride. On the second pass thru McCormick, we can stop for gas/bathrooms/snacks or lunch. I think there is a Hardee’s and a McCormick Drive In for people that want lunch. Also, I have called the Forest Service office in Edgefield to see if there is an update regarding the closed bridge on the Long Cane SCAR Alt. I haven’t received an answer yet, so Ed and I have mapped out a drive around for that part of the trail. We should still be able to do a good bit of the blue trail even using the detour.
