WELLFORD, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say a Spartanburg homeowner shot and killed an alleged intruder using a gun he grabbed from 1 of the two would-be robbers.

Deputies responded to a reported home invasion in Wellford just after 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. They found a dead man lying in front of a nearby home, wearing plastic gloves.

A woman living at the home told deputies she was sitting on the couch when a man came in and put a gun to her head. She yelled for her husband, who came in and fought with the intruder.

The woman said the suspect dropped the gun, which her husband picked up and shot him in the head. Deputies say a second suspect fled the home and hasn't been found.

Shot him with his own gun. Winner!

So long story short my F150 just shut down while i was driving home. not sure what happened but working 3rd shift i didn't have time to mess with it. Had it towed to the house and went to bed. Well today when i started messing with it i found a blown fuse for the ignition main wire. It was a 20amp fuse, i only had a 30amp fuse to replace it with.. so truck starts back up.. runs good for about 30 seconds.. Then something catches my eye.. A 3 ft flame and black smoke pouring out from under the open hood. Cut truck off, put truck out with dry chem extinguisher. Turns out i had a faulty ignition coil on plug that tripped that fuse before it caught on fire yesterday and left me stranded. It didn't trip it this time and lit up like a Christmas tree... Apparently the ford coil on plug system works that when one goes bad they all do shortly thereafter. So now i will change the plugs as well. Did i mention that you have to have a $100 special spark plug extractor tool because they are a two piece plug and break apart inside the head... did i mention the plugs are $12 each, the coils are $50 each and i need 8 of both of them... Guess im headed to rob a bank... ****....

Haven't had a single issue out of it until now..... the maintenance manuals say to replace them at 100k... I didn't... made it to 101k...preventative maintenance karma is a bitch...

Sent from my Obama phone....

You don't need the tool if the plugs don't break. Also get accell coils from summit. That's what taco did. Took about a day to get em. Much cheaper and better. 5.4 is a great motor.
