18" charger wheels, aluminum

Bought these off a guy on craiglist, thought they might look ok on my XJ. In the end I decide they were a little too big, and would probably require ~35" tires to look proportional. I was going to use them for Highway tires as an extra set. My loss is your gain.

They came off a 2006 dodge charger. 3 of them have tire pressure sensors that would work with 06-07 chargers. New they retail for $50-$100, do if you don't need them you can sell them.

The rims are 18", aluminum alloy, don't know the backspacing but it is probably about the same as stock xj rims. They are 5x113mm = 5x4.5".

There is some curb rash on two rims, the other two are perfect. All 4 hold air. There is some corrosion around the center caps. All 4 have dodge logo center caps.

Located in Anderson SC. Will meet within 30 minutes. Asking $375 for all 4.

Pictures when I get home. Photobucket is acting up.

saw your pictures on facebook, they look pretty sick on there, but they are a little flashy for the old XJ haha.

Yeah i really like the style of wheel - if it was in a 16" or even 17" i think I could pull it off. Ive seen XJs with 17" rims on 32-33" tires and they look fantastic, almost factory with JK wheels. If i wasnt lifted as high, or if the fenders werent trimmed as much, or if I could justify a 35" tire, I'd keep them. Even if they were brushed aluminum instead of polished I think i could pull it off. I thought about painting them, but then I might spend $800 on tires and decide I still hate them, and i think they'd be harder to sell painted.

anyhow, here's some pics

I say run them. If you don't like them somebody on craigslist will.
well I didn't get any bites on any of the forums or craigslist, so I think I might just keep them. I am going to strip them cus the clear coat is coming up around the centercaps and there is some brake dust pitting and scratches in the insets.

I plan to paint them. There are a few powdercoaters around me, but I think I'm gonna try duplicolor graphite to paint them then clear over that. I'm trying to decide if I paint the entire wheel the graphite, or if I should do the insets black like stock and the polished surface graphite, or do I leave the polish and paint the insets graphite. I guess I'll see when I get them stripped down, but the graphite looks pretty sharp. I was surprised but I also liked how their bronze looked on some of the pictures I saw.
