Couple of years back, I think in 2009, we talked to a guy at the dairy hut that said they were working on a trail that led from the Black Mountain trails to the Hatfield McCoy trails in WV that would be accessible by jeep and tagged OHV. I have never heard anymore about it though.
There is a trail that runs from Harlan to WV. We talked to some guys last year that were doing in on Rzrs. I have no interest in riding my Jeep from Harlan to WV but if the trails are good I'd tow there.

Do you have any more info on that trail? is it dirt? I know it would have to cross pavement. Any details? is it possible in a jeep?

Nah, I know it takes a good while though. They said they would have to run 40 to 50 mph to make it there and back in a day.

I thought that this wasn't available untill the new area up past Whitetail opened? Maybe I missunderstood though. That would be pretty cool but idk if i'd wanna do that in the buggy.

Yeah Steve its on Dixie. Yea I gotta get a driveway in there first. I do know there is some hills right across the road though.

Yea those hills were fun before th kudzu took over. I wish we could find out who owns that and do a little maintenance. Would be a fun place to play for sure. I take the rzr back there sometimes and tool around but last week it was so grown up it was hard to get through there.
