Have a friend in need of an AX-5 for his wifes 4CYL YJ. They are in Greenwood, so closer the better. Hers has been without 5th gear for a long time so they are ready to get it fixed.

The internets lied. You are correct. So, he would need an AX-5. You can do an AX-15 if you have parts from a Dakota apparently.

The AX5 is not that really hard to rebuild. 5th gear has a clip that holds it on and usually it breaks and the gear comes off.
Advanced adapters makes a complete kit with bellhousing and AX15 to go in. Dakota belhousings can be a bit hard to find.
