yet another V8 stretched one ton TJ build (copied from my build thread on pirate4x4)

Was able to get a few hours of work in on the TJ today, only after finishing grafting a TJ dual rate swayloc onto the JK.

I picked up a currie 36" .800 antirock swaybar and arms a little while back, so I figured it was time to figure out how I was going to squeeze that in. Normally the piece of tube that holds the bar would be the front most piece of tube on the frame, but since I bent my front frame piece this was not really an option. I had also already cut my winch plate to follow the lines of the front tube. So after looking at it for a few minutes, I decided to cut the front lower portion out of the front clip and notch the piece of 1.75 x .080 DOM that houses the swaybar to fit on top of the front tube frame. Pretty much took my time cutting on the front to make sure I didn't cut out any structural pieces or other things I might need when installing the new radiator. Was able to finally get everything in there, and square, so went ahead and burnt the front side in along with stitching the winch plate on. So here is how everything came together as of this evening.

Also had to put a bend in the front trac bar in order for the trac bar to not contact the front truss bridge at full bump.

So still lots to do, but at least something is getting done.

Bump. You done any more lately?

Progress has been slow of late, especially considering the rain and wind. Did manage to get the last 3 treps swapped onto the racelines, burnt the new above the frame front upper link mount on the frame, redid the rear upper shock mounts for like the 5th time, ditched the rear 12" foxes and swapped the 14" foxes back in, skinned the rest of the radiator clip, mocked up the new aluminum crossflow radiator in order to figure out what brackets need to be fabbed, and fabbed up a bracket for the dual cutting brake so it would fit in place of the factory ebrake handle. Here are a few pics on the TJ in its current state.

Now I'm just waiting on some parts shipments from PAC racing springs (14" 100s/16" 150s for the 14" rear foxes) and the rest of the AN brake plumbing stuff from summit so I can get brakes buttoned up.

Hell yea, got 5 of em too! Nice! What size are those boys?
Same size as my radial treps, 40 x 13.5 x 17. Yep got to get 5 when running a new size/style of tire, well that and the fact that a set of 4 or 5 shipped for the same price.
