TJ Evap purge Solenoide Clicking.

I disconnected the battery while doing some work this week, upon reconnecting the battery the purge solenoid is going bat **** crazy. I have read some stuff on JF but dont really see any clear answers. Is the computer just trying to re map? or is there yet another problem to add to the ever ending list?

Anyone have any experience with this?

When the engine's running, mine clicks so loud that I started chasing engine noise. Then I followed my ear to the solenoid. Never noticed it on the reconnect like yours though.

is it throwing a code yet? it could be just cycling through its fuel vapor leak down tests. My solenoid went bad and would click all the time and keep the engine light on. replaced it and all is well.
