My buddy got his tires and wheels from Texas. Came on a greyhound bus.

I've heard of using either greyhound or Fastenal/Grainger for shipping big items.

Of course if you can go ahead and strap it to a pallet or make a crate that can be forklifted, that makes life a lot easier. My new transmission and transfer case came over from England on a pallet. At that point, UPS or Fedex can help you out, probably would have to take it to a terminal, though.

But yeah, strapping it to a pallet yourself/building your own crate/pallet will make life easier.

I shipped a set of axles out to Washington using ForwardAir. Just put them on a pallet and dropped it at the facility. I think they have one here by the airport. The guy buying them paid the shipping company directly.
