Rusty's xj steering conversion

I got to go drive the xj a little bit today and it death wobbeled. I knew the tie rods were old and it needed aligned, but I don't want to spend money on something I won't use once its lifted.

Has anybody used the rusty's setup? Is it worth the $275? Can it be used with the steering flipped to the top of the knuckle?

Don't waste the money. Do a V8 ZJ conversion and roll with it.

I saw a v8 zj in PAP yesterday, but I didn't know I should be looking for steering...

Its a lot beefier and you can get it for nothing, its whats bolted to my 30 and its been great. Can you run chevy 1ton TRE on a v8 zj steering?

i got rustys 1 ton tie rods on both jeeps.. works good. only $99 was a good selling point for me

are the drag links any beefier from the V8 zjs? I know after I replaced my tie rod with a beefier one I bent my draglink next...

Everything I've seen says that the drag links are the same. I really like the idea of having a knuckle to knuckle tie rod like the Rusty's system converts too...

Way more than I want to spend and overkill for what I'm going to do with this one.
