paint wheels? opinions wanted!

I have new aluminum wheels that are matte black that I bought in the fall. I entertained the idea when I first got them of painting them a tan/spice color to match my doors and interior.

Just got back from wheeling this weekend and they are mud colored pretty much the exact shade I was envisioning. What do you guys think - paint them so that they look like this permanently or leave them black:

I have had the same thought from time to time after muddy URE trips. I say go for it.

I painted the wheels on my Explorer and they looked good for a few months, then the paint started chipping out and they looked like ....

kyron paint is what works good for wheels.. i painted my rubicon rims black..it looks good.
Paint them what ever color you like. They're your wheels..
but IMHO black looks the best.
