MCJ Uwharrie Cabin Rental Information

#1
Ok, so we have been trying to finalize details on the cabin rental for this year's Christmas Trip December 7-9th. We found and reserved this cabin before they had finished updating information online, but now we have all the info and can relay it to yall.

The cabin is $300 for 10 people per night with an extra $30 per person up to 22 people total.

As a club we are going to offer this deal.

Club members will be $40 per person for the weekend in the Cabin and you WILL Have a Bed.

If there are extra beds still available we will allow non club members to join on the trip for $60 per person.

First Come, First served on this cabin. If you plan to attend please bring your money to the meeting this month so we can go ahead and make the deposit.

Here are some pictures of the cabin:

Burgundy and I are definitely in. A little shock rework and we'll be jumping some terraces :).

Making a note here so we'll all remember but this cabin does not have towels and linens included.

Yup, Cabin has been reserved. $40 per person for MCJ Club Members. That includes at least one dinner and breakfast as well as a Uwharrie Christmas Crawl 2012 T-shirt. $60 for non-club members if there is room remaining.

There will be a group leaving Friday Morning From Columbia, and Friday evening as well. We will be running most all the trails at uwharrie so there should be trail rides for just about any 4x4.

Last year there was a new rerouted trail. We checked it out Friday but there was nothing to it so we didn't go back. This year there is a reroute on Dutch John and a new easy trail (Lake View) I'll probably look at on Friday. We'll also be staying near the south end of the trail system and can run the lower two trails (Falls Dam and Dickey Bell) we didn't do last time. Dickey Bell has a few fun spots.
