After extensive internet research I was not able to find an adapter to install my walbro pickups in my fuel cell. Was starting to look like it would be cheaper to buy a pre made kit from a supplier on pirate.
Then while I was at home depot. I found the part in the green bag in the picture. I believe it is used for natural gas poly tubing in home construction.
Bag says 1/2 x 3/8. The 3/8 side of the fitting measures 5/16. (Made by Sharkbite)
I was able to attach fitting directly to a 1/2x1/2 compression coupling. Then attach the compression fitting to the 1/2 aluminum pickup tube. Then attach my 5/16 submersible rubber line to the sharkbite fitting and build the walbro set up from there.
