These became so popular after the release of the Exogate kit, we are now offering just the hinge only kit of the EXOGATE kit.
Over time, all factory TJ tailgate hinges will loosen and sag, resulting in a rattling tailgate and making the tailgate harder to close. The poor design of the original factory hinge will cause the steel pin to prematurely wear and sag with the weight of over sized tire and wheel combinations that most TJ owners have upgraded to.
Our hinges have longer bronze bushings, a stainless steel hinge pin and a great fitting, so they’ll never rust, sag or rattle.
Installation time of about 30-45 minutes.
