dial indicator, caliper and dana 30 shims

well i put my new 30 in my tj today, and noticed that 2 or 3 of the smaller shims were about half to 3/4's of an inch out of the hole there supposed to be. so of course i go to tap them in with a hammer hoping that it would just tap in :shaking: and i busted one of them.

so in all it would be awesome if someone could just let me use there tools for a little bit of cash cause i would like to not have a shim fall out and have my deflection on my lp 30 be even worse because the falling out shims are on the passenger side.

would like to get it done as fast as possible, any help would be much appreciated!!:smile:

Remember that axle spreader I was taking about. Dana axles need that spreader to install those shims. You may be able to use a shim driver to install the shims but it needs to be the exact radius of the shim. http://completeoffroad.com/i-2068988-arb-air-locker-differential-spreader-0770003.html

dang! thats alot of cash to put down to fix a dana 30!

of course this wouldn't have happened if the 30 didn't have an arb lol

Take it to reputable shop and have them do it for you. It should be pretty cheap.
