Is there any chance of shops other than a dealer being able to flash the PCM in my '04 Wrangler with the 42RLE, or have the diagnostic equipment to tell whether my Jeep has already been flashed?
There are 2 TSBs that apply http://www.aboutautomobile.com/TSB/...ule+(TCM)+and+Powertrain+Control+Module+(PCM). I stopped by Galeana today and they want $105 to hook it up to "Flash everything", but they want to charge me whether it's already been done or not... I guess I'll check with JT's, but looking for other options.
