Jumping Off Rock

We got out Sunday and went to Jumping Off Rock. Had a great time, trail was excellent, easy and dry! We did see a small black bear!

Are you able to drive down to the lake yet?

Right after Jumping Off Rock the trail is closed. Says "Seasonal Access Only".

Good times, thats always a nice ride out in the mountains. I want to catch it during the seasonal opening where you can ride down to the lake, i think its september-january its open.

That's a shame. Would be nice to be able to go down to the lake when it's this hot out.

We always go up in the fall, so the opening to the lake is typically open. I think it was closed last season due to continued Helene cleanup.
