2025 Adventure in Milos, Greece

I was supposed to have gone to Greece last fall with a few friends, but Helene changed my plans to a solo trip this year.

Great pictures! Where all did you go?

I did the Jeep ride in Milos and checked out the major mine and hot springs. The trip was a cruise with Milos being the last stop before returning to Athens. I also visited Thessaloniki, Kusadasi (Turkey), Crete, Santorini, and Mykonos. I hiked an active volcano in Santorini. I saw a lot of Biblical sites, including the House of Mary near Ephesus, which is also where the Apostle Paul preached against the established Greek gods. I learned that the Starbucks logo comes from the Greek god, Artemis.

I definitely want to go back to Greece and checkout Mykonos and Milos some more. Santorini is a one and done experience to me. Athens is a really cool city. The people are super friendly to Westerners.

The hiking trail pictures look epic! Nice! What hikes did you do? names of trails and details?

I don't remember the name of the specific trail, but there is an active Volcanic island near Santorini that we hiked up to the crater of. I will post pictures of it soon. I hiked up the main road from Santorini port to the city. I took the cable car down. I could have paid 10 euro to ride a donkey up to the top, but I declined, lol.
