Title transferred this morning and spent the afternoon fixing the fuel leaks. It's officially mine and no longer a fire hazard.

Put the bikini top on it yesterday when the sun came out and drove it a few miles around the farm. Thing is mint! Other than being worried the drivetrain was going to fall out the bottom.

Baseball season ended yesterday and we didn't have anywhere to be tonight so i gave Bennett a quick lesson in Roadkill. Since the other pair of adapters are now available, we pulled the front tires off, cut the swaybar links and snatched the bar out, then installed the other pair of spacers and JK tires. The smashed fender caused some clearance issues so we did a little body work, then trimmed the flares.

reminds me of that teal jeep we had in the club a few years back that went to uwharrie with us and had machine screws in the driveshaft bolts

That wasn't Uwharrie, it was trail 22 at Windrock.

I put my new HF media blaster together this morning.



I picked up a rusty seat frame along with the other YJ parts a while back.



I tried to use the cheap coal slag from TSC but it was too coarse for this blaster. I ended up running it through with no tip at all and it worked surprisingly OK.

Put the littles and the farm jeep to work today.

I wanted to get some outside work done today, but surprise, it rained. Instead I swapped out the battery in Burgy's yukon because it died on us this week and put the spare Optima in the YJ. Then I started to tackle the floor pan.

I cut out the worst of the rust and got the driver's seat out. Its amazing that the floor is gone and the left side of the driver's seat frame was rotted in half, but the rest of the tub looks great. I've never claimed to be a body guy so my plan here is simple. Cut out everything I can, plop a new floor pan in with seam sealer, and paint.





I wanted to salvage the seats, but 3 of the 4 bolts that hold the sliders to the seat frame broke and the frames are shot. Burgy said we needed new seats, but the budget is pretty tight.
