March 22-24 MCJ on the Georgia Traverse

I'm trying to see if I can go on this trip. Researching how big of a tire I can throw under my camper now. How offroading will this trip be? If I take the renegade I worry about following everyone. If I take the TJ I worry about stopping power and damaging the camper with such little tires. Just thinking out loud.

Much of the trip will be gravel forest service road. Everything is rated Easy on many of the sites with ratings. I haven't been on much of the trails that we will be venturing on, but have done a TON of research to get us the best possible route.

Somewhere in this area is where I plan to camp Friday night I think.

I really don't know what the Big Frog Wilderness Loop contains, but I know that the more difficult trails will be on Saturday.

Chris, if it helps any I plan on going in my truck. My thoughts are if it looks too bad ill just turn around and catch up with them later.
I'll keep that in mind. Id like to go but dont want to beat on anything right before Harlan. Need to get a spare for the toaster as well but if I go Ill just follow you if we have to turn around.

No problem I’m just messing with you I know I’m getting old. I guess it’s ok for non members to go. Maybe I should have ask before inviting them?
Nah I am getting you mixed up with someone else that came up to me after the meeting. But no anyone is welcome to come on these trips, that how we get new regular members haha

I think we should try to keep it at a Max of 10 vehicles. This will allow us to travel and camp with a reasonable footprint. Including me on this we are right at 9-10. People often drop out before trips, but lets be mindful of the numbers on this one.
