    Croft State Park 1-15-2018

Went up to Croft State park with a few guys for my birthday weekend and did some hiking and camping on the lake. This is a cool park that has almost 50 miles of trails and 2 nice lakes for boating and fishing. We camped at site 38 right on the lake and the weather was a balmy 22 at night. About 8pm sunday night i went to get some water and the faucet was frozen. Ended up thawing it with the torch and left it dripping through the night. We had some good food and fun hiking around the park Sunday night and Monday. The trails have some cool old history to check out from cemeterys to old home sites and even an old bottling plant for spring water.

Next time, I'll have to bring the bike and take a trip on some of the mountain bike specific trails. I only took a few photos while we were exploring. But I plan to go back sometime in warmer weather. Its only about an hour from chapin.
