Flooring Vinyl Planks

#1
Anyone have Vinyl planks for flooring in their house? How does it feel? Does it look extremely cheap?
We need to redo our bottom floor and get rid of the stank stained carpet and the peeling linoleum floor.
We looked at Laminate flooring first but with the kids and pets i expect moisture to be a problem.
Pretty much narrowed down to the vinyl plank floor that snap into each other for a freefloating surface.

I just want to know what to expect out of it for durability from real world use, not the sales pitch.

I really like ours, 30 year residential warranty. We got the exact same floor they have installed at Liberty on the lake. You are welcome to come see ours sometime.

The house I renovated last summer chose vinvyl instead of going with wood and it looks awesome. Hardly can tell a difference from wood. It was easy to put down and much more affordable. I would use it in my house. They went with the regular lowes brand, don't remember the name of it.
