Hi folks!
I just wanted to introduce myself to the masses, since I'm new to the forum. Like all of you, I have a love for 4-wheel drive vehicles, but the Jeep CJ-7 is, and will always be, my favorite. I am not your typical 4x4 grinder though. Honestly, I get all the off-roading I need when I drive down any dirt road. It's always been that way...and I have owned one of my CJ's for a bit more than 25 years. Thru the years I have owned (4) CJ-7s. Still have two of them (both 1986 models). With a Jeep...you can NEVER have enough tools. The only 4x4 vehicles I have owned.
A side hobby that relaxes me, and is just as expensive, RC airplanes. Oh the $$ I have wasted looking for that perfect airframe...
Glad to be among friends!!

I feel the same way. I don't mind clearing occasional obstacle, it does keep my skills sharp for the zombie apocalypse, but I use the 4x4 to get me into the fun out-of-the-way places. My sons LOVE little trails in the woods and the mountains.
