What did you do to your rig Today? V2.0

Picked up a set of 5 stock rubicon wheels and tires for the JK, $200! Tires look great, rears 60% or so, fronts 40ish. New spare, gonna buy another new tire and put the spare on the front. Pretty pleased with that deal. Also removed all carpet and hosed the entire thing out on the inside. Digging the no carpet look a lot, though it does have a little more motor noise.
I don't even have a Jeep and I would have bought that.

I bought this kit and the tabletop kit years ago so I could move this radio between my shop and the Jeep. It has been in my shop the entire time and now that my shop will be part of my house in a couple months, it will probably stay in the Jeep. It was a good plan, just didn’t go the way I wanted.

When you don't go Wheeling for 3yrs, and forget to service the winch!

So who has a blast cabinet I can use? 79ab4db97e9c1b75db1cab07586aae77.jpg
So I disassemble my winch, start to clean & prep for paint, and parts. I look up the parts list on the warn site, and here again I encounter a problem.
There is no listing for an XD9000i with a SN# lower than 36xxxxx I think it was. Mine is a SN#10xxxxx. Why? Why always me?

Over the past few days I got the winch all painted, new stainless hardware to assemble it, new seals, and main bearing. It's nearly assembled.
I managed to get the front bumper sanded down, and a fresh coat of bed protector.

After a long awaited time. Finally got the TJ back on the trails today after the rebuild at Quarry Town ORV! Took it a little easy but she climbed everything I pointed it at!

Got my driveshafts back and spent the afternoon working from one end to the other filling fluids and tightening everything. Pulled the parts car up beside it and went from one side of the engine compartment to the other returning mine back to 100 percent stock under the hood. With the stock air box/intake in place and all the correct emissions equipment in place I crossed my fingers and hit the key...and it runs great! What a freakin relief. Played around with it in the field and drove it up and down the road a few times. Rides very good in the field with some speed, and with the 4:88s has more power than I anticipated. Overall very happy. To take a non driving/running rig and build it and have everything work on the 1st try felt good. Suspension cycled well and everything that needs to clear, clears. Of course I had to harken back to my high school days and do the ditch test..

Winch is completely finished, and waiting on a new rope to spool up.
I made a nice long tow rope, and tree savers with my old rope. Much more compact, very light, repairable, but only about 2\3 of the strength as my 30'x2"strap. 89965fdf3c771986af28665e3278d9bf.jpg

When do we see the jump video?

Set of VDP rear speaker pods.
My intent was to install my 6.5 subs in them, but the subs are a bit to deep. Slapped in a set of cheap boss speakers, connected to the OE amp, and I was actually impressed. b8c0107ba70b227a78943a29c7eb879e.jpg
