TJ Front Upper Adjustable Control arm question

#1
So, getting ready to install my front adjustable upper control arms.

How do I figure out the best length? Do I adjust so the pinion is at the same angle as the shaft like the rear or do I need to account for castor?

It will drive best if you set the castor correctly, but you might get vibes. Its a compromise. I've been told the front pinion should point directly at the transfer case output with a double cardan joint, but that's how mine is set up and I have vibes so...

Thanks Larry...trying really hard to eliminate the vibes ;)

I read somewhere that a good alignment shop will adjust the uppers to get the right pinion and castor...any truth to that? I am gonna need an alignment after all the crap I am doing to the front and if that's the case, I'll set the uppers to align the shaft and pinion and let them work it out lol...
