Actually, I'd get one of these:
Newer vehicle, can be had for under $20k, they are basically a Toyota Prado so bolt on parts are available. Dimensions are about the same as your 80 (height, width, length) but with a baller drive train in them. Oh and they are super nice inside.
Dan Kunz has one. Its all lifted, armored, and baller. Saw him and his gal driving along being super comfortable while my broke and frozen *** was trying not to suck.
I would say get a Land Rover LR3, but you aren't dumb enough to do that.
