Now Brooks I know I'm gonna be a super senior but I'm also trying to avoid breaking your record here for time to complete a bachelors degree.
I've lost count how long ive been working on my associates. But with all the stuff I've taken I'm somewhat of a jack of all trades but only slightly helpful.

Burglar gets beaten, thrown off balcony in Federal Way

FEDERAL WAY -- A burglar got more than he bargained for Monday morning when he broke into a Federal Way apartment.

That's because one of the residents, a 20-year-old boxer named Colton Vaughn, didn't take kindly to the crime and beat the burglar before throwing him off a third-story balcony.

Vaughn said he woke up early Monday morning to get a glass of water in the kitchen of the two-bedroom apartment he shares with his brother, Kirk, and his wife, Alexandria.

It didn't take long for him to realize that something was wrong.

"I started to drink it, and it was really, really cold inside, and I was like, 'why is it so cold?' And I felt a cold breeze coming from the sliding glass door," he said.

Just then, he looked over and saw a man wearing a ski mask and gloves coming at him.

"I knew immediately that he was here either to harm me or to steal our stuff," Vaughn said.

Had the burglar known what was in store for him, he likely would have turned around and left.

Vaughn said as the burglar approached him, he decided it would be a good time to put his seven years of boxing skills to use.

"So I started hitting him," he said. "I hit him about six or seven time. I was yelling, 'Kirk! There's somebody in the house.'"

Moments later, Kirk came rushing out of his bedroom, ready to back up his brother.

"And I came running out with my pistol," Kirk said. "(As) soon as I came out here I was right here with my gun, had the hammer cocked back."

But by the time Kirk made made it to the living room, the burglar had assessed the situation and made a beeline for the sliding glass door to escape.

With his adrenaline pumping, Vaughn gave him a lift.

"I grabbed him by the collar and the back of his belt, I threw him right over the balcony," he said. "He put off a little bit of a scream and when he hit the ground is when he made a loud thud and was like, 'ughh' really really loud."

After the encounter, the brothers ran downstairs to find the burglar, but he was already gone.

Police tried to pick up the man's scent using a K9 unit, but didn't have much success.

http://www.newson6.com/story/166455...himself-4-times-in-head-during-tulsa-standoff

TULSA, Oklahoma - An autopsy reveals a strange but true case of a man dead after shooting himself four times in the head.
Police say Terrence Moses kidnapped his ex-wife last Wednesday, then got into an eight-hour standoff with Tulsa police.

The Special Operations Team rescued the woman, but then say they found Moses dead.

Police realize how unbelievable it sounds that a man could shoot himself four times in the head, but they say the crime scene evidence proves that's exactly what happened.

Police say Terrance Moses got into an argument with his ex-wife last Wednesday, and she later told her family he was holding her at gunpoint.

Officers found them at 2 a.m. on Thursday in his condo at the Brandy Chase Condominiums near 67th and Peoria.

After hours of negotiations, SOT members made entry. They heard a woman screaming and gunshots, then saw her coming down the stairs and rescued her.

The police department says no officers returned fire because they couldn't see who was shooting a floor above them.

"I can't think of anything worse than when a suspect is above them in an enclosed area," said Tulsa Police Sergeant Dave Walker.

Police sent in a robot around 10:30 a.m. and cameras showed Moses was dead. He had one shot to the chest and four to the head.

Police say the ex-wife might've been trying to wrestle the gun away from Moses when he accidentally shot himself in the chest. As for the next four shots, they say he did those on his own.

Police say he first shot himself under the chin. That bullet exited his face and went into the ceiling. They say he did that twice more with the same result. Then a fourth shot entered his neck, severed his spinal cord and killed him.

"I know it's kind of unusual that we say somebody committed suicide, killed himself by shooting himself four times in the head. I would wince at that too, but if you look at it, line up the holes where he was shot, you can see how that happened," Walker said.

Sergeant Walker says Moses had a Walther 380 and a Springfield Armory .40 caliber and fired them both. Tulsa officers carry .40 caliber Glocks. Sergeant Walker says all Moses' shots were accounted for.

"There's really nothing to hide in this whole thing. We wouldn't hide anything anyway. It's a sad story for him, sad for somebody's life to end that way, but it happens," Walker said.

The medical examiner says Moses died from gunshot wounds but hasn't ruled it suicide yet. They are doing additional testing and measuring plus any toxicology reports would take weeks to get back.

Police say Moses' ex-wife has been interviewed and is not a suspect of any kind in this case.

I've been looking into blacksmithing (more on this to come) to pick up ever since i started welding in school. Watched a badass show yesterday that came on History about jesse james blacksmithing, he went to Israel to learn from a fella name Uri Hofi and learned to do some amazing things with it, my buddy recorded it back in Dec and hasnt come back on since but if you see it come on again, watch it. People can hate on Jesse as much as they want to, the man is a true badass with his hands and metal. He closed down west coast choppers awhile back and moved himself and his kids to Austin, tx to give his kids a better life he said and to change his life i guess. Started working at Austin speed shop and i think bought it as well, builds cars now and motorcycles on the side for himself.

Cruising youtube i came across a few videos i thought were pretty legit, Ive always loved rat rods and bobber styles for the minimalist approach and no bullshit. I've got plans for a yamaha xs650 bobber someday...

I got all the blacks, itching stuff you will ever want at my house. Some of my friends bought the stuff a while back and it's just sitting at my house.

Personally I thought it was kinda cool, but I got bored with it pretty quick. You can come by and check it all out if you want to sometime. I need a new fan I think though cause the other one broke iirc.
