They can get you any sheet or rectangle tubing. They had a hard time getting any DOM for me.

I've had good luck with a place called Smith Metal Fab on 276 in Greenville between downtown and Cherrydale. It's just to the west of 276 less than a block on the north side of the Duke Sandwich place. He has lots in stock, will order, and also lets you pick out small pieces he has cut off or he will cut to length. I haven't been by in well over a year but last two times I went in I asked to see his cut pieces, picked out a few small pieces I needed, gave him a few bucks and was on my way. Easy breezy.

Just got off the phone with these guys, as I only needed a few feet of some box tube for a project. Michael over there was really helpful. Went out into the stock to see if they had what I wanted, will let you take cutoffs or scraps, and will cut to length.

I think Michael was the guy I've dealt with but it has been a few years. He was very nice and did cut some box to length.

Just to update this thread, I was talking with CFS and they stock DOM in many popular sizes. That may save you some shipping if you have been ordering online in the past like I have.

Was looking for some Steel and went to reference this list and it looks like a number of these places have closed. Does anyone know of a cut to length steel place in the columbia area?

I updated the list above.
