Speedo gear chart

This based on a 231 transfer case. I've regeared 3 of mine in the past and it's very accurate by GPS.
You can order Mopar speedogears by simply changing out the last 2 numbers of the part number and putting in the pinion size you need or find an aftermarket one.

.......38 37 36 35 33 32 31 30
R&P
5.13 38 39 40 41 43 45 46 48
4.88 36 37 38 39 41 43 44 46
4.56 34 35 36 37 39 40 42 43
4.11 31 32 33 34 36 37 38 40
3.73 27 28 28 29 31 32 33 34

To arrive at a correct JeepĀ® part number add the tooth count for the speedometer gear to the end of 520676. For a 26 tooth gear the correct part number is: 52067626.

* Items in bold have been verified by person(s) with a GPS to be within 3 mph of actual speed at 70mph.

I have always wondered, are those true tire measurements or common measurements? ie..My BFG KM2 is a 35" but true measurement is 34.7" and my "compact spare" swamper is a true 34". So do you buy a gear for 35s or round down to a gear for 34s?

I am reading too deep into this aren't I?
