Led signal issues

#1
So my buddy has had led turn signals in his f150 and finally got the 6ohm resistors to slow them down. Nice looking little units mounted in a heat shrink. I wired them 1 lead to the power and 1 lead to the ground per the instructions. It still blinks quickly. Pissed me off too, I took forever soldering them and hear shrinking them trying to channel my inner Tripp.

When I got the led's for the jeep there was a replacement blinker that took the place of the stock one (located on the steering column) that slowed the blink. Isn't there something like that for that installation?

My first assumption is that you wired it to the running light wire and not the Turn signal.

Also Just FYI 13.8 v / 6 Ohms = 31.74 Watts or (2.3 amps)

I cant see it being a wiring size issue. What Year F150?

Do research on changing out the blinker relay. They make special ones for when you convert to LED. Super Bright LED has em and a lot of times they are direct plug ins, especially into stock fuse/relay boxes.

In the old rovers, if you don't do it, then the blinker will give you seizures.
