Ok after my last wheeling trip I wish I had my winch working. It was pulling fine till one day I did a long pull and It seemed like it burnt out. I may need a motor rebuild. I want to have someone go over it. If its too much since its only a tabor 9.5. I will just buy a new one but, I would like to try to fix this one. Anyone know where in irmo columbia area they rebuild or fix winches?

Dang, it was barely used too. I'd disassemble it, clean it, and try it. The motor can be bought separately if need be. Tabor's have Warn internals.

Are the magnums and tabor pretty much the same thing?

Sounds like a faulty wire, or solenoid. I can take a look should Dan get stumped!
Lee Transport is the only actual Warn dealer in Cola area. They should have the wiring/parts/troubleshooting info on the warn site.

Magnum is a Warn Product. It's actually just the tabor renamed. It's the Tabor Magnum 9K.

I thought it looked in really good shape. I only got to use it twice. I am pulling it apart and see what I need...
