2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 10th Anniversary Edition

#1
Well, its been 10 years since the first Wrangler Rubicon Rolled off the Dealer Lots and since then they have been selling like hot cakes. The Rubicon gave jeepers many factory options that had been unheard of in a production vehicle from Jeep. Throughout its 10 year history it has also changed a few times for the better, getting bigger tires and electronic swaybars when the JKs hit the market.

The 2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 10th Anniversary Edition is outfitted with accessories to make the one of the most capable off-road vehicles in the world even more capable. It comes standard with all-new steel front and rear bumpers—of which the front has removable wings for better approach angles in seriously technical situations, it's also winch-ready so you can ensure you have options for self recovery. The new edition is also outfitted with larger 265/70R17 BF Goodrich KM2 tires and a corresponding one-half inch suspension lift. This brings ground clearance and approach and departure angles into a category never seen by a Jeep prior to this, which leads Jeep to claim that it is the most capable factory-produced Jeep Wrangler ever.

A unique dual-intake Power Dome hood helps the engine to run cooler in slow speed environments where it can run fairly hot, according to Jeep the new hood also "gives the Wrangler a more menacing appearance." You may have also noticed the red-silhouette "Rubicon" decal on the hood—pay attention and you'll notice other red accents, such as the front tow hooks, and a red Wrangler "icon" logo on the outside lip of the new-for-2013 aluminum Rubicon wheels which are painted satin black and feature polished faces.

It's not just the exterior that was gone-over, the interior has available red leather seats embossed with "Rubicon 10th Anniversary." The leather-wrapped steering wheel is also adorned with red stitching which leads way to a gauge cluster unique to the special edition and an Electronic Vehicle Information Center that tells you important facts read-outs such as oil pressure, oil temperature, and tire pressure.

Incase you've forgotten that you're in the Wrangler Rubicon 10th Anniversary Edition there's a plaque mounted in the dash tray that displays the vehicle's technical data, such as axle type and ratio, tire size, crawl ratio, and where it was built.
