Waterproofing Electronics

#1
Seems like there are plenty of different schools of thought on this.

Some have enclosed everything in a waterproof box, some put them in a balloon. Then there is the Plasti-dip and liquid electrical tape crowd.

The newest thing I have heard about it CorrosionX. It leaves a thin coating on the electronics and keeps water from getting to it. Seems like a pretty good way to do it as I dont plan to dunk mine, but after crawling in the creek at harlan this past weekend, I see how accidents can happen...

There are some videos on Youtube of people coating escs and servos and dunking them in water and no issues.

Anyone ever used the stuff?
