We are starting a list of competitors for the G6 RC Challenge to see if we need a 1.9 and 2.2 class.

This will be a very recreational challenge and is all for fun, but there are prizes for the best scores. Let us know if you are interested in joining the action with your RC!!

Current sign up list:

Brooks
Cole
Larry
Tripp

2.2
Todd

We also have some Comp rigs interested in a challenge, but we need to know if there is enough interest to create a comp course. We may run the comp rigs on the 2.2 course and just add a few challenges along the way.

With WEROCK, the top 6 of the unlimited class get to do an extra course at the end. Super-mega ridiculous stuff. Many bonus lines that are pretty much impossible, yet these guys go and do it. Basically put the top drivers in situations to excel and show off their skills to the crowd. Usually timed. I think the last one I saw, the guys had like, 3 minutes or something like that?

The shootout was ALWAYS awesome. Not saying you have to do it exactly the same, but get the top X number of competitors, make a ridiculous course with bonus lines, and put a time limit on it. Oh and make sure to wear a cowboy hat. Announcers at WEROCK always wear cowboy hats :grinpimp:

The one I remember was Jellico 2007. The bonus line for the shootout, basically you had to drive your rig sideways into this crack (only way it would fit). You are 10 feet down in this crack. Then the drivers had to make their way to the end of said crack and down a 8 ft drop. That and Dayton May 2008 when Drew Goldie rebuild his rear diff in 30 minutes then got stuck on an obstacle for 2 minutes. Then finished the rest of the course + bonus line with 10 seconds to spare. Epic.

hmm, thats basically how we are planning our comp now haha...

I was doing a little brainstorming last night and have a good idea of how the course will be.

It will include:

A cool offcamber dirt uturn with hill climb
a long Z shaped rock garden with ledges
a V-notch that will get narrower and taller as it goes
A sand Pit
Some Log Obstacles similar to TTC
