So what is your preference? What colors, brands, or textures work good for what?

For axles, I've recently started using the Rustoleum hammered black. It gives awesome coverage and has proved to be very durable. Its mostly a semi-gloss and works great for covering up imperfections.

For bumpers and such I like to use the Rustoleum truck bed liner. Awesome coverage and durabilty.

For most everything else, its the Lowes $1 flat black.

I painted my front bumper in hammered black and I don't think it's held up very great but it also could use some extra coats on it I think. I've always only painted my ish in rustoleum and always liked it the best compared to others.

Ill give some a try. I have used the duplicolor engine enamel before and liked it. I've noticed that its a little on the watery side though. I do like the hemi orange.
